New Park Christmas Savings customers can currently get a £20 bonus after joining through the referral invitation and making a first payment of £50. The £20 is added to your Park account for Christmas spending—it is not cash you can immediately withdraw.

How Park Christmas Savings works
Park is a Christmas prepayment club, not a normal savings account. You choose an order—usually gift cards or vouchers—and pay towards it during the year. Park says payments can be made flexibly, including by Direct Debit, card, bank transfer and other methods.
Once the order is fully paid, Park supplies the selected products in time for Christmas. The available range includes retailer-specific cards and multi-retailer products, but the exact retailers, denominations and any exchange fees depend on what you choose.
You do not need to pay £50 every month. The £50 is the qualifying first-payment threshold for this offer. After that, follow the payment schedule needed to complete your actual order.
What to know before paying
- Your money is less flexible. It is committed towards Park products rather than sitting in an instant-access bank account.
- There is no FSCS deposit protection. Park says prepayments are instead held in an independent trust designed to protect customer funds.
- Late cancellation may cost money. Park currently warns that cancelling an entire order after 1 September may incur 10% of the order value, with a minimum £25 charge.
- A cancelled qualifying order loses the reward. Do not join with the intention of collecting the bonus and immediately requesting a refund.
- The promotion can change. Save a screenshot of the invitation and check its live conditions before registering.
Pros
- £20 added after the minimum £50 first payment.
- The account is free to open.
- Payments can be spread out rather than made monthly at a fixed amount.
- It can keep a planned Christmas budget separate from everyday spending.
Cons
- The reward is Park account credit, not withdrawable cash.
- You give up the flexibility and possible interest of normal savings.
- Gift cards have retailer and expiry conditions.
- A late full-order cancellation may trigger a charge.
Is the Park referral worth it?
The maths is attractive: £20 on a £50 qualifying payment equals a 40% boost. But the useful comparison is not £70 cash versus £50 cash. It is £70 of value inside Park versus keeping £50 flexible in your own savings account.
The offer is strongest if you already expect to spend at least £70 with retailers covered by your chosen Park product. Skip it if cash access matters, you are unsure which gift cards you will use, or you may need to cancel after the free-cancellation period.
