Which event image size should you use?
- 1200 × 630: website link previews, Facebook links and LinkedIn links.
- 1080 × 1080: square feed posts on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- 1080 × 1920: Instagram Stories, Facebook Stories and vertical screens.
- A4: posters for noticeboards and printing. Test one copy before printing a batch.
Platforms can change how images are cropped, so keep important text away from the edges.

Make a free event poster and social media graphics
A useful event promotion pack needs more than one image size. A landscape link preview can look wrong in a square social post, while a square design leaves too much empty space on a story. This tool lets you enter the event once and download separate PNG files for each common format.
Add the event name, date, time, place, price and booking link, then choose a colour style. When a complete web address is included, the tool creates a QR code for the poster. It also prepares short social wording, a longer community post and an event listing description that you can edit after copying.
