What will you see?

The selected works explore memory, place, identity, relationships and everyday experience through 41 distinct approaches to painting. The gallery also names an overall winner and two runners-up, but the full exhibition extends beyond those three works.

Some paintings are for sale, but entry is free and buying is optional. Allow roughly 30 to 60 minutes depending on how closely you want to look.

Well Hung is a commercial gallery rather than a large museum, so opening hours can change around installations or private events. Check the official page on the day, especially if you are travelling specifically for the exhibition.

The current exhibition page gives Saturday 29 August 2026 as the final day. This replaces the earlier 22 August date in some publicity.

Many works are listed for sale, but there is no obligation to buy and admission remains free.
