What will you see?
Local photographer and master printer Stuart Keegan has documented the Bloomsbury Festival over twenty years. This display brings those photographs together as a record of the people, performances and creative energy that have shaped the festival since it began in 2006.
It is more of a visual walk through the festival’s history than a conventional indoor gallery exhibition. Stop by for a few minutes, or make it part of a longer wander around Bloomsbury’s museums, bookshops and gardens.
More than one place to look
Brunswick Square Gardens is the main location. The official listing also says the exhibition continues at the Edit Lounge of The Imperial, Russell Square, and in the windows of Greater London Properties on Judd Street.
The organiser only publishes the 8am to 6pm schedule for the Brunswick Square Gardens display. Check the official listing or contact the individual venues before making a special trip to the additional locations, as their access and opening times may differ.
Getting there
Russell Square Underground station is the nearest Tube stop to Brunswick Square Gardens. King’s Cross St Pancras, Euston and King’s Cross stations are also walkable if you are arriving by rail.
The main display is outdoors, so it is best visited in daylight and in weather you are happy to spend time in. The two additional displays are indoors or window-based, which could make useful nearby stops if the weather turns.
