What is happening?

The evening centres on PickArt’s current collection at sevente. The discussion looks at how hospitality venues and other shared spaces can help artists show their work outside a conventional gallery, and why buying original art need not feel intimidating.

Libby Hoffenberg, whose work is in the collection, is joined by Olivia Abando, Curatorial Director at PickArt, and a member of the sevente team. There will also be time to look around the collection, talk to other attendees and find out more about the artists.

The displayed works include pieces by Abi Ola, Lewis Deeney, Larissa Fantini, Sabina Plamenova and Libby Hoffenberg. Some selected works will be offered at event-only prices. That is entirely optional: the RSVP and the conversation are free.

Who is it for?

This is a good fit if you enjoy art but feel new to galleries or collecting, as well as if you already follow local artists. It is a conversation-led social evening rather than a formal exhibition opening, so expect drinks, networking and an informal chance to ask questions.

No age restriction is published on the booking page. Contact PickArt through Eventbrite before reserving if you need confirmation about access, seating, step-free entry or whether the event suits younger visitors.
