How to book cheaply

Bookings for low-cost activities open from 13 July. Free sessions can generally be booked two weeks ahead. Search for Move Games after choosing your preferred centre online, or use the Move Southwark app.

Check the age range before booking. Some sessions are designed for young children, while others are for ages 11 and over. Spaces can be limited even when an activity is free.

Free family fun day

Move Southwark has also announced a family fun day at Southwark Park Sports and Athletics Centre on 22 August. Planned activities include inflatables, face painting, family games, a penalty shoot-out and athletics challenges. Final times and booking information are due closer to the date.

Useful questions

Are all Move Games activities free?
No. The programme combines free sessions with low-cost activities. Always check the price shown beside the exact session before booking.
Do we need to live in Southwark?
The public programme does not make one rule clear for every activity. Check the booking conditions for your chosen centre and session.
Can I turn up without booking?
Booking is essential for many sessions. Free places can fill quickly, so reserve them as soon as the booking window opens.
Which leisure centre should I choose?
Start with the centre closest to you, then compare dates, ages and prices. Each centre has a different programme.
