How to get the British Gas offer
Join through the referral invitation
- Open the referral link.
Start through the offer button above so British Gas can track the referral. There is no referral code to enter.
- Get an energy quote.
Enter your address and usage details, then check the tariff and estimated annual cost.
- Choose the supplies to switch.
The reward is £25 per qualifying fuel, up to £50 for gas and electricity together.
- Keep the account active.
Your new British Gas supply must remain active for at least 90 days after its start date.
- Check your email.
British Gas requires a valid email address and says the gift card may take up to three months to arrive after joining.
Who can get the reward?
You must be aged 18 or over and live in England, Wales or Scotland. Your address must not already be supplied by British Gas, and you must not have held a British Gas energy contract during the three months before joining.
You need to purchase the qualifying energy supply directly through the referral link. If you cancel within 90 days of the supply start date, British Gas cancels the reward for both the new customer and the referrer.
