What is Threads about?

The story centres on Snip & Stitch, a small tailoring shop that acts as a meeting place and safe space for its community. As the textile industry changes, the people around the shop face questions about what holds them together and what may need to change.

The production comes from Hackney Empire’s Artist Development Programme and brings together young performers and creatives with an experienced professional team.

Before booking

Select the £5 level if you want the cheapest ticket. The official page currently lists the running time as to be confirmed, so the finish times in calendar tools are only planning allowances. Check your ticket for final timing.

Are tickets really £5?
Yes. The official booking page offers choose-what-you-pay levels of £5, £10 and £20.
Can I walk in?
Booking is safer because there are only two performances and availability can change. Use the official page to see live ticket availability.
