The Giant West London Flea Market sets up under the Hammersmith Flyover on Saturday 26 September 2026. Entry costs £2 on the door, children under 16 go in free, and organisers promise more than 100 traders selling antiques, vintage furniture, architectural salvage, garden pieces, vintage lighting, clothing and house clearance finds.
The quick version
A £2 rummage with real shelter overhead
Entry is just £2, paid in cash or by contactless card at the gate, and under-16s do not pay at all. The market sits beneath the concrete A4 flyover canopy, so it runs whatever the weather does and gives you some shade if it is sunny.
Date: Saturday 26 September 2026
Time: 10am to 4pm (the organiser’s own write-up also mentions a 5pm finish, so it is worth arriving earlier in the day rather than counting on the later time)
Price: £2 entry on the door, cash or contactless. Children under 16 go free
Place: Sussex Place, Hammersmith, London W6 9DY

What is free and what costs money
Getting in costs £2 per adult, and that is the only compulsory spend. Children under 16 are admitted free. Everything beyond the door price is optional: browsing the stalls costs nothing extra, and what you spend on the day is entirely up to what catches your eye. Most traders take card payments, and several can arrange delivery if you buy something too big to carry home.
What to expect
The market runs under the Hammersmith Flyover on Sussex Place, close to the pedestrianised Hammersmith Bridge. Traders travel in from across the UK and Europe with antique decor, period fixtures and fittings, decorative and architectural antiques, garden furniture, vintage lighting, clothing and house clearance bargains. Stock changes every time, so it suits a leisurely browse rather than a trip to find one specific item. If you enjoy digging through London’s other flea markets, this one is worth adding to the list.
Getting there and access
Hammersmith station is a two-minute walk away, served by the District, Piccadilly, Circle and Hammersmith & City lines. Buses 9, 10, 27, 33, 72, 190, 209, 211, 220, 266, 267, 283, 295, 391, 419, 485 and H91 all stop within a three to five minute walk. If you are driving, the nearest paid parking is at Sussex Place Car Park (W6 9PJ), a two to five minute walk from the market, with Livat Car Park on Glenthorne Road and the larger NCP Hammersmith Grove as backups.
The organiser lists the site as wheelchair accessible and dog friendly, with toilets available on site. If you need extra options, Hammersmith Broadway Shopping Centre has accessible toilets with baby changing two minutes from the station (small fee applies), and Livat Hammersmith on King Street has free toilets open until 6pm on Saturdays. See our accessible toilets guide for more stations nearby.
