How much can you earn?

Admiral’s current referral rewards depend on the policy your friend buys:

You choose how to receive it: a PayPal transfer, an Amazon.co.uk gift card or an M&S voucher. It arrives within 120 days of your friend’s purchase.

How to earn Admiral referral rewards

Refer friends to Admiral

  1. Be an Admiral customer.

    You need an Admiral UK policy and to be over 17.

  2. Get your referral link.

    Sign up at admiral.com/refer-a-friend to get your own link.

  3. Share it with friends and family.

    The best time is when someone mentions their renewal is coming up.

  4. Your friend quotes and buys online through the link.

    They must get the quote and buy straight away using your link. Saved quotes and quotes from comparison sites do not count.

  5. Wait for the policy to settle in.

    The policy must stay in force for at least 30 days. Pet policies need 90 days and three monthly payments.

The rules that catch people out

  • Comparison sites do not count. If your friend buys through a price comparison website, or from a saved quote, there is no reward.
  • Renewals do not count. Only new policies bought through the link qualify.
  • Cancelling early cancels the reward. The policy must not be cancelled within 30 days, and premiums must be paid.
  • Admiral can change or end the scheme at any time, so check the terms before you rely on a reward.

Is it worth it?

If you already insure with Admiral, yes: it takes two minutes to get your link and every successful referral pays out. A single car policy referral is worth £60, which is more than many bank switching bonuses.
