Advertising disclosure: London for Cheap is a WinHive affiliate. If you register or participate through our link or code, we may receive a commission or promotional credit. This does not change your reward or improve your chances of winning.

WinHive is a prize-competition website for eligible adults aged 18 or over who ordinarily live in England, Scotland or Wales. New customers can currently enter the promotional code LUCKYBEE during registration to receive £1 of promotional Hive Credit.

What does the LUCKYBEE code give you?

The current offer adds £1 of promotional Hive Credit to an eligible new WinHive account. Hive Credit is the internal balance used for paid online competition entries. It cannot be transferred, withdrawn or exchanged for cash.

The code is intended for a brand-new customer and must be accepted during account creation. WinHive’s terms say only one signup promotional code can be used per customer. Existing accounts cannot add a signup code retrospectively.

There is no guarantee that £1 will cover the full price of a particular entry. Competition prices and conditions vary, so check what is live before deciding whether to use or add more credit.

How to use the WinHive promotional code

Claim the new-customer credit

  1. Open the WinHive registration page.

Use our affiliate button above to begin. You must be 18 or over and meet WinHive’s residence requirements.

  2. Enter your correct details.

WinHive asks for information including your name, email address and date of birth, and may later verify your age, identity, address or eligibility.

  3. Find “Promotional / affiliate code”.

This optional field appears on the account-creation form.

  4. Enter LUCKYBEE before submitting.

A signup code cannot be added to an existing account later, so check the spelling before finishing registration.

  5. Confirm the reward in your account.

Make sure the promised promotional Hive Credit appears before you use it. Contact WinHive if the code is rejected or the offer shown at registration differs from this guide.

How does WinHive work?

WinHive runs chance-based prize competitions. Each live competition should show its prize, closing time, ticket price, maximum ticket supply, per-person entry limit and any advertised cash alternative.

For paid online entry, customers first obtain Hive Credit and use it to buy entries. Each valid entry receives a ticket number. After a competition closes, WinHive says it fixes the eligible ticket list and uses a recorded computer process to select the winning ticket. A potential winner is confirmed only after the required checks.

Some competitions may be instant wins, while others have a later main draw. Always read the conditions on the individual competition page rather than assuming every draw works in exactly the same way.

Can you enter WinHive competitions for free by post?

WinHive publishes a free postal route alongside relevant paid competitions. It says a valid postal entry receives a normal ticket number and joins the same prize-allocation pool as a paid entry.

“Free entry” does not mean entirely cost-free: you pay for the stamp and posting materials. Each competition has its own identifier, deadline and entry limit. WinHive requires one correctly stamped postal item per entry request, and it must arrive before the stated postal deadline. Late, incomplete, illegible, underpaid or over-limit entries may be rejected.

Read the official postal-entry instructions each time, as copying an old address or competition reference could invalidate an entry.

Costs, eligibility and controls to understand

  • WinHive is for adults aged 18+ who ordinarily live in England, Scotland or Wales, unless a competition has narrower rules. Northern Ireland is excluded.
  • Hive Credit is account credit, not cash. It normally cannot be withdrawn or transferred.
  • WinHive currently accepts eligible debit cards for Hive Credit top-ups, not credit cards.
  • Paid competition entries are normally allocated immediately, so you should not assume you can cancel simply because you change your mind.
  • One person may operate only one account. Duplicate accounts or false details can lead to rejected entries or removed promotional credit.
  • WinHive provides controls to set a monthly paid-entry limit, including £0, pause an account or request closure.

Is the WinHive code worth using?

If you are an eligible adult who has already decided to create a WinHive account, entering LUCKYBEE is useful because it adds the current new-customer credit at no stated purchase requirement. It is less useful as a reason to start spending: £1 of Hive Credit is modest, cannot be cashed out and does not make a win more likely.

Our practical view is to claim the free promotional credit, inspect the live competition conditions carefully and avoid topping up unless the cost fits a budget you had already chosen. The postal route is another option, but you must follow its instructions precisely and allow for delivery time.

WinHive code questions

What is the WinHive promotional code?
The code is LUCKYBEE. It currently gives an eligible new customer £1 of promotional Hive Credit when accepted during account creation.
Can I add LUCKYBEE to an existing account?
No. WinHive’s terms state that a promotional signup code is normally available only while a brand-new customer creates an account and cannot be added later.
Is the £1 reward withdrawable?
No. Promotional Hive Credit is a closed-loop account balance for WinHive. It is not cash and cannot normally be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money.
Does using an affiliate code affect my odds?
No. The code provides promotional credit only. It does not improve a ticket’s chance of being selected or change how a valid paid or postal entry participates in a draw.
Is WinHive available throughout the UK?
No. WinHive’s general terms currently require entrants to be 18 or over and ordinarily resident in England, Scotland or Wales. Northern Ireland and other jurisdictions are excluded, and an individual competition can impose narrower conditions.
Do I have to pay to enter?
WinHive offers paid online entry using Hive Credit and publishes a postal route for relevant competitions. WinHive charges no entry fee for the postal route, but you pay normal postage and must meet every stated requirement before the deadline.
