Marylebone Village’s free Christmas party takes over Devonshire Street for the afternoon, with live performances, festive food and drink stalls and a Ferris wheel. A celebrity guest switches the lights on at 6pm. Food, drinks and rides are paid; walking around and watching the switch-on cost nothing.
It’s a short walk north of Oxford Street, so you can carry on to the Regent Street and Carnaby lights afterwards. Our London Christmas lights guide has a free walking route, and the same evening is also Singles’ Day, with plenty more on across London.
