The best place to leave your luggage in London is often not the cheapest result on an app. It is the secure, well-reviewed place that fits your route and is open when you need to collect your bags.

Start by asking your hotel or hostel. If that is not possible, London has staffed facilities at major stations and hundreds of bookable storage points inside hotels, shops and other local businesses.

Connecting to an airport

Luggage storage at St Pancras International

St Pancras has a staffed left-luggage counter, not rows of self-service lockers. Excess Baggage Company operates it in the Circle area inside the station.

The official St Pancras listing currently gives daily opening hours of 6am to 11pm. The operator says customers can prebook or walk in, and that stored baggage is covered by CCTV and screened by X-ray.

An authoritative live tariff is not published on the station page, so check the price directly rather than relying on an old blog or social-media post.

Choose the station facility when:

  • You are travelling on Eurostar or another St Pancras service

Stasher

Stasher works with hotels and local businesses, which it calls Stashpoints. It advertises UK storage from £1.49 per bag per day, with prices varying by city and bag size. Payment must be made online; locations do not take Stasher payment at the counter.

Its current cancellation policy offers either a 50% refund or a voucher for the full value when cancelled before the scheduled drop-off, so it is less flexible than some alternatives if your plans change.

LuggageHero

LuggageHero is worth checking for a short gap because it offers hourly and daily bookings. Current London examples begin at £1.49 per hour or £4.90 per day, plus a £1.60 service fee per bag.

The final cost depends on the location and duration. Its advertised standard bag guarantee is currently lower than the headline protection advertised by Nannybag or Bounce, so compare the terms as well as the price.

Radical Storage

Radical Storage currently advertises London storage from £1.90 per day through local partners. Treat that as a starting price and confirm the complete cost, partner type, reviews and opening hours for your chosen result.

Victoria Coach Station

Victoria Coach Station has its own staffed facility opposite the ticket office. Transport for London currently publishes the following per-item tariff:
