King’s Cross is hosting two free creative markets on the same weekend. The Illustrators’ Fair takes over The Crossing on Saturday, followed by the Crafty Fox Summer Market on Sunday. Both bring together more than 100 independent artists and makers.
Saturday: The Illustrators’ Fair
The UK’s largest free illustration fair returns with more than 100 selected artists and collectives. Browse limited-edition prints, zines, comics, cards, graphic novels, pins, stickers, ceramics and children’s books.
It is a good place to discover work that is not normally found in a high-street shop. Prices vary, but small cards, zines and prints can provide lower-cost ways to support an artist.

Sunday: Crafty Fox Summer Market
On Sunday, Crafty Fox fills the same indoor space with contemporary craft, illustration, jewellery, ceramics, homeware, clothing and design-led gifts. More than 100 artists and makers are expected.
The organiser offers free advance tickets. Check its page before travelling in case registration is needed for the time you want to visit.

How to get to The Crossing
The Crossing is beside Central Saint Martins at the Granary Building on Granary Square. Walk north from King’s Cross St Pancras station through the pedestrian area beside Regent’s Canal.
King’s Cross St Pancras is served by several Tube lines, National Rail and many bus routes. The venue is indoors, which also makes it a useful option if the weather turns wet.
More free things to do nearby
You can sit by Regent’s Canal, explore Coal Drops Yard, walk towards Camden or look around the public spaces and fountains in Granary Square. Browsing the market and walking beside the canal can fill several hours without an admission charge.
Bring a bottle of water and decide on a shopping budget before entering. Independent markets are tempting, and a free event can quickly become an expensive one if every small print follows you home.
